MASHSMD Marketing Communications Internship
MASHSMD awarded one intern a scholarship in 2023 in the amount of $1,000. Future scholarship amounts will be determined annually.
The Marketing Communications Intern assists with the marketing and communications of our Chapter, such as assisting with email preparations, website updates, social media communications, content, and virtual events.
Time requirement varies to meet the requirements of the academic institution*
In addition to the opportunity to work closely with top healthcare industry marketing leaders, they are also awarded a $1,000 stipend.
Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or Strategy.
Applications accepted March 1- April 5, 2024
Awardee to be notified no later than April 26, 2024
Internship commitment 2-3 virtual hours per week: May 20 - August 16, 2024 (estimate)*
Eligibility requirements and scholarship guidelines:
- Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited college or university in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Washington, D.C.
- Applicant must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related course of study (i.e., general business, advertising, public relations, market research, etc.)
- Applicant must be scheduled to graduate no sooner than May 2025
- No applicant shall receive the MASHSMD Student Scholarship Award more than once
- All applicants must complete and submit the application and essay prior to the posted deadline
Proceeds of the scholarship will be paid as a stipend directly to the student to use for their college or university towards payment of tuition, books, or other school supplies.
